Architecture Office LIIV was created in 2005 from the need to combine Interior Architecture, Design, Art and Architecture into experimental or pure idiosyncratic designs. Starting from the "Genius Loci" the Spirit of the place and the clients who will live or work there.
The creative multidisciplinary team of LIIV is client friendly, strives for clarity of contracts, communication short lines with clients and other partners. LIIV provides the client in the building process.
The name LIIV stands for life, live, love, the pleasure of designing and creating.
LIIV is a way of living and creating. In this way, we create personal designs specifically for our clients that contribute to a better world in a small way. We look at material use and their footprint in the environment. In designing, we use sustainable technologies for energy generation as well as reducing consumption.
The founder of LIIV, Ivo Hommel graduated in interior architecture at HKU and studied MTS architecture and HTS architecture. He has worked for years at several renowned architectural firms, such as Architectuurstudio Herman Herzberger, DDVW architecten and Architectenbureau OD205.
LIIV collaborates with various disciplines to execute the projects properly.
So we have a number of good structural engineers, building physics consultants, property developers, furniture makers and contractors that we work with.
For larger projects we work together with architects and interior designers artists and theater makers.
